How did I get here?
It all started with a quest to keep my son’s hockey bag from turning my wife’s car into a locker room on wheels. As the one in charge of cleaning and maintaining his gear, I realized there weren’t many easy-to-use, accessible products designed specifically for this challenge. I spent hours scouring the internet for gear detergents that could effectively tackle the stink, keep equipment fresh, and preserve its lifespan without causing unnecessary wear.
What I found, though, was a jumble of recipes and inconsistent advice. Nothing seemed straightforward or reliable. That’s when I took matters into my own hands and began crafting bath bombs that could simplify the washing process. This has transitioned to not only having Bath Bombs, but developing a daily use spray, laundry bags that fit the requirements of a locker room and many other items. My goal was and has continued to make it easier and more convenient for families like mine to keep sports gear clean and fresh—saving time, energy, and frustration along the way.

Born in California, SportScents is built on one simple idea: make gear smell better without sacrificing performance. That’s why we’ve prioritized American manufacturing for our flagship Odor Bombs and Odor Defense Spray. Domestic partners let us monitor formulations up close, move faster on quality control, and ensure ingredients meet the standards our athletes and parents expect.
Our apparel line is also proudly produced across the United States, supporting local makers and ensuring quality you can wear with pride. The only products we currently source internationally is our line of odor bags and laundry bags — where overseas manufacturing provides the best balance of durability and cost. Even then, we carefully select factories that meet our standards for safety, fair labor, and consistency.
